In a Nutshell All hikers will check in at the Camp Morrison on different days and complete on the same day, Saturday, and rendezvous at nearby Burgdorff Hot Springs for a well deserved soak, a great non-freeze-dried meal, and a participant patch.
At least one adult in each group must be current on Wilderness First Aid and CPR.
All adults should be current with online training: Trek Safely, Safe Swim and Hazardous Weather.
All participants will undergo a pack check at Camp Morrison and must be fluent in Leave No Trace. A gear check list and menu suggestions will be provided prior to August.
Update Spring 2015. An alternate route has been proposed for Day 1 to leave from Camp Morrison and ascend to the ridgline trail and traverse to Duck Lake instead of starting at the Lake Fork Guard station. This allows 1 extra day removed from a developed road, leaving day 2 the only day on a developed road.
Cost - $35 per hiker.
Participation is limited to ninety hikers. This is a brand new first year event. Contact Brian Loomis or Erik Lund for additional details.
